First Female CDO from Dalit Community

Sita Pariyar is the first Chief District Officer (CDO) from the Dalit community. At the age of 44 years, she got opportunity to serve as Chief District Officer of Humla. Before being appointed as CDO, she was working as an assistant chief district officer of Bhaktapur.

She entered civil service as a section officer on September 4, 2011 from an open category.

She worked as a local development officer for Dolakha district in 2015 and Bhojpur district in 2017.

After that she served as a chief administrative officer of Chandragiri Municipality (2018), Janakpur Dham Sub-Metropolitan City (2019) and Kirtipur Municipality in (2020).
